This is a track conceived in contemplative solitude. It maintains the moody introspection that is ingrained in Pacific Northwest life, however, as opposed to the debut record, Shadow now comes armed with a palpable sense of hope to accompany her signature melancholy. Swaying percussion opens the track with lightly strummed guitar, complemented by Ashley's confident vibrato that oscillates between.
